Units of Measurement Visual Studio Extension (VSIX), Release 1.1 Build 2015.04.22.1652, for Visual Studio 2010-2013.

As of this release, source code and documentation have been moved to GitHub.

The most important changes in this release:
  • RuntimeLoader functionality added to load (late) units and scales from a definition text file at run-time.
  • Simplified IQuantity and ILevel interfaces:
    • Static properties of unit/scale (Sense, Family, Factor, Symbol, Offset, Format) are no longer dragged behind each of their instances (as properties of quantities and levels).
    • These properties are now available via proxy types: Unit<T> and Scale<T>.
  • Redesigned Catalog functionality:
    • UnitProxy replaced by Unit<T> and Scale<T> proxy types,
    • UnitCatalog replaced by UnitCatalog<T>,
    • Added ScaleCatalog<T> (T = double | decimal | float).
  • Extended scale definition syntax (ScaleReferencePointAttribute attached to scales)
  • Now unit and scale types implement IFormattable interface.
  • VS Express editions no longer supported (as of VS Community edition).
See detailed change log for more information on these changes.
